From Stephan

This is Stephan now, the only thing I’m going to say about this is that Everybody in this company has their plate extra full, and NO ONE is over performing at this point in time; which means ALL of you should spend the entirety of your time accomplishing the numerous tasks that were given to you as oppose to wasting any time.

EVERYONE in this company has tremendous potential and enormous flaws, you do not see Tove and I pointing it out to you guys in a demeaning manor, ever. If we do not do it, no one will be allowed to do it either. Overall everyone in this team is perfectly capable of doing a good job in their respective position and we will not tolerate anyone breaking the team spirit. We encourage you to help each other in a constructive and respectful manner to better yourselves or our systems all the time, everyone here is smart enough to be able to contribute a little something to everyone else’s job but no unfounded criticism without a working solution will be tolerated. If you think you are smart enough to criticize, then you are smart enough to come up with a real detailed plan to improve the system, and for that our door will always be open.

Memo From Tove

Hello Pazza and Loft Team-

It has come to my attention yet again that we have employess gossiping and speaking about other employees in a derogatory manner.
I would like to propose something to you people who get a kick out of speaking ill of others on our team...SHUT UP! If you have a work related issue with an employee my door is always open, my cell phone is on, my blog and e-mail are checked daily. What it shows me when you engage in criticizing another employee to someone who can do nothing about it ,is that you are simply trying to spread dislike, undermine them and you get off on running your mouth.
If you all knew the amount of times various employees have called me to say they heard this was said about them, or so and so said this about how they work, sometimes these people are angry, sometimes frustrated, sometimes crying, but all times the experience is pointless, hurtful and big waste of everyones energy and time.
So, let me spell it out simply...If anyone has any issues what so ever with a co-workers performance please come directly to me. Big, medium, small complaints what ever...bring them all to me. I feel confident in saying that I have always tried to address each employees concerns and issues in a timely fashion and I do my best to build a strong team and give you guys the support you need. I would also like to encourage you to speak directly to each other , but only if you can do so in a respectful manner. Never in anger, this is when you say things you cannot take back and create animosity by speaking with out thinking!
Mayor Bloomberg has his desk positioned in the center of all 50 of his aides desks, it's called the bullpen and he has the lowest staff turnover of any mayor in New York History. He claims this is because he is always available to his staff, he leads by example and he never speaks down to anyone. I admire this and it is what I aspire to as team leader.
He also has a plaque on his desk that says " Lead, Follow or get the Fu#k out of the Way" Leaders are too busy leading to indulge in pointless negative chat, Followers are the loyal soldiers who move the company forward and trust that their leaders are doing what's best for the team, and all others can hit the road.
So once again cut all the pointless, negative, indulgent exchanges that you may be tempted to engage in and come to me or go directly to the source if you really want to fix the problem.

Manhattan Beer has the same issue

hi Almass, i have spoken to Manhattan Beer dist. yesterday and they also refused to send us beer because of a past due balance. I have placed an order with Beehive yesterday hopefully we get everything today. However, we don't and won't have any corona or stella until we pay the balance due.

Data Entry LOFT Payroll

Hi Almasse I will collect sign in sheets for LOFT, file them and do the data entry for payroll FOH and BOH.
I'm not sure if I'll do Pazza's data entry too as there are two separate payroll sheets now - if you are swamped I could do Pazza's too. I'm trying to do data entry daily - Maxine is in one Tues so she'll refresh me on payroll sheets, to make sure data/ hours are entered correctly. I am also doing the schedule and posting it each Friday..will amend payroll sheet with budgeted hours weekly.

1-Almasse I would like to get Pazza 200$ petty cash as of this Friday please. Martha/Ghani and Ferdie will be responsible for the receipts.

2- For the weekly payroll I would like for you and Maxine to create a printed list to send along with the Pazza checks. This way the managers will be able to look at the list and know whose checks were sent to them that week. A simple list of the names of the people whose checks are in the envelope that goes to Pazza each week.

This is Ghani. I HAVE SPOKEN TO MAXINE ABOUT A PROBLEM I HAD BEFORE. 3 WEEKS AGO I LOST MY WALLET. IT INCLUDED $300 AND MY PAY CHECK FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 14TH. I ASKED MAXINE IF YOU GUYS CAN PRINT ME ANOTHER AND SHE SAID YES. I ALSO REMINDED HER COUPLE OF TIMES, BUT I THINK SHE FORGOT (I KNOW SHE IS BUSY). I THINK YOU COULD DO THAT.
